Courses: Brass

tutor: Paul Archibald

This well-established course is led by the trumpet virtuoso, leading teacher and arranger, Paul Archibald. The course will be divided between work for solo instruments with piano (Juliet Edwards), technique sessions, repertoire sessions and ensemble playing ranging from trios and quartets to 10-piece orchestral brass ensemble and big-band repertoire. There will be several opportunities throughout the week for the brass players to perform in the early evening foyer concerts. There will be a big band performance on the final evening.
